Hi all! I use Nero 6.6 or Imgburn 2.1 to burn Vista RC1 iso to DVD, burn
process completed! Then I insert DVD to DVD-Rom drive error message shown:
"The application or DLL E:\Sources\SPWIZENG.DLL is not a valid Windows
image. Please check this against your installation disk" after I press OK
then error message shown: "The file 'autorun.dll' could not be loaded or is
corrupt. Setup cannot continue. Error code is [0xC1]"

Please help me how to solve this issue?

Thanks for your help.

Have you checked both the downloaded file and the burned DVD for the correct
hash or CRC?

I kept getting that on one of my x64 DVD burns - on that same file
My checksum WAS correct - and I verifiied disk after Nero burn.
I read here about doing the install from the iso using DAEMON but have
not tried it yet ( search here - last week or so )
Title = " No need to burn a DVD, simple ISO file problem solution" .
Let us know if it works for you. I gave up on x64 - every DVD had a "
bad file" during install. Not the same file on all the DVD's ( see my
recent posts)

BTW what speed did you choose for your Nero burn ? Slowest possible ?
My x86 DVD DID work and I chose " x1" in Nero.

Matthew,

Are you using Nero 7 ?
They released a new version ( 188mb !) a few weeks ago: are you using
that ?
Some folks said THAT then worked. If you have a high-speed connection,
download it into a folder and install NERO BURNING ROM ( you don't need
all the other stuff to do burn).

BTW unless you have a real need for x64 version - there are not many
drivers out there so be forewarned that even after you get it on there,
you'll probably get a lot of "unknown devices". If it doesn't matter ,
use the x86 version ( it's only for testing anyway - to get the feel).
The x86 version burned fine.

Mike--

This makes no sense and you knew it when you posted.

Would like to help but I can't tell from this vague message what specific
problem you're having.

RC1 mentioned why?
You have "bought version" and want to do what with it? It's going to be on
a DVD soinstall it.
