I have a problem accessing a shared folder on a Windows 98 machine from a
Windows XP Pro SP2 (+ latest updates) computer. I can add files to the share,
delete them, edit them, etc. However, if I open a file on the share and then
save it back to the share using "Save As" I get a "Folder Not Accessible"
error.
I had initial problems accessing the share from the XP machine so I changed
the share name to be twelve characters or less and removed all spaces from
the share name, as suggested on this forum, and it resolved all the access
problems except this one (which has only just come to light).
Has anyone ever met this problem before?
