Problem accessing website/download software

Hello--

I am running Windows XP/SP2 Internet Explorer, Zone Alarm Firewall, Norton
Antivirus.

I am trying to listen to a radio station on-line. WWW.947hits.com
When I click the "Listen Live" button, I get an "Internet Explorer Script
Error" pop-up. I hit "Yes" and nothing happens.

When I go to the company that handles the stream's website
(www.surfernetwork.com), I get a white "This page cannot be viewed" screen.
I check all of my Internet, add-on, cookies, javascript, debugging, LAN
settings. I disable my firewalls and anti-virus. I've run SEVERAL ad/spyware
removal programs. I do subsequent reboots. But for some reason I cannot
access the stream nor the company's website.

Thing is...my mom's computer CAN do these tasks just fine! I've been on the
phone with her at the exact same time and SHE can access the stream and
company website, but I cannot. When she clicks the "Listen Live" button, it
takes her to a screen that lets her know her connection speed has been read
and gives her an option to start the download to access software to hear the
stream. When she goes to the website, it's there!

This leads me to believe a certain spyware removal got rid of a certain file
I need in order to view this website or access the stream. Do I need to
reinstall IE6?? If so, do I need to uninstall XP SP2?? Because I downloaded
IE SP1 and it wont let me install it because I already have a "more recent
version of IE6...setup will now discontinue". I can't reinstall even after I
changed the registry value to 0! (Do i have to change it back to 1?)

BTW...my settings in Internet Options (Security, Advanced etc...) have all
been tweaked around to see if it helps...It does not.

HELP! :) Feel free to email me directly!
thanks...

When I choose to remove IE from windows component, IE is still on my computer
(after reboot) but Windows Media Player is gone! I did not highlight or check
mark Windows Media Player.

How do I reinstall IE6?? When I download IE6setup.exe and choose to run the
setup, it states that a "newer version of IE" has been found on my computer
and setup cannot be performed.

Should I uninstall Windows XP Service Pack 2 and then reinstall it? That
will include all of IE6. I wont mess my system up by doing this will I?

If so...what steps should I take to uninstall then reinstall. I noticed the
link to download SP2 on download.com is dead.
