I am having problems with internet explorer. when i try to access a web site I get a message"internet explorer cannot open the site http// etc... operation aborted. I ok this and then the page appears, it then goes off again and 'page cannot be displayed ' message appears. I also click on a hyperlink sometimes and it takes me to an NT search page. The whole thing is driving me mad, and i dont know who to call - the company i bought the computer off or my ISP. To make things worse the message 'registry data not found' comes up every time I log on. I havent got a clue what all this means, as i am fairly new to computers. I will be charged a fortune for phoning these helplines so would be really grateful if anyone could help me. Thanks

Have you installed Kazaa application. If you have installed uninstall it first. Then search for SP.exe file if found delete it & before deleting it kill the process in Task Manager then check in startup.Start->msconfig->ok.This should solve the issue

Thanks Peter,Yes I did have Kazaa, I uninstalled it and it has seemed to speed things up considerably. I understood the task manager bit, but I didnt understand anything else after that, --- startup, mscongfig etc. Any chance of explaining that. It all sounds very interesting.
