probable program error

messenger service on my PC is set to manual.

the antispyware popped up & advised taht teh windows
messenger service was running.

i checked in services, and teh service was NOT running.

?program error?

I agree with you--I'm pleased to see that you weren't confused about just
which service was involved, though. This alert is worded badly. It happens
if the service is set to other than disabled, and if you hit the "stop
service" button with remember this action checked, in fact, what happens is
that startup is set to disabled for this service.
