I recieved windows xp pro from overseas. Unfortunatly, it is fake , but it
works. Not genuine. Is it possible to downgrade to home keeping my files.

Downgrading to Home isn't possible. Since Professional has more
features, it would be like removing a bedroom/bathroom from your
house. Best to use Files & Settings Wizard to backup profile settings
and backup/verify personal data to optical media. Since you'll be
doing a bare metal install - I'd suggest a separate partition for all the
personal data on the reconstructed XP home setup.

No. Downgrades are never supported. The only way to get to Home to by
backing up your files, installing XP Home cleanly, then restoring your
files.
