Hi!

How can I transfer via Internet (at reasonable transfer rate) some large
file between my two computers (one at Office and one at home - both XP/SP2 -
no common LAN or any connection).
One has a fixed IP and the other an automatic one.

Ideas ?

How big a file?

Define large file. gigabytes? Use a thumbdrive or memory stick otherwise
you may use something like GoToMyPC.
