Private folders

In Windows XP I have set my personal folders "private" (I
am the system administrator and I am changing folders in
my personal profile). I now want to make my folders
public again, but I cannot uncheck the "make this folder
private" option on the sharing tabs of my folders. Does
anyone know how to do this??
