Priority Symbols

Hi Mac,

I tried what your suggested and gave Wm a good kick in the pants but it is
still giving me the same two error messages. I did it 3 times to be sure I
did it right. I restarted my computer like you said, I did not shut it off
and turn it back on, I just clicked on the Start symbol and clicked on
restart each time I did it.

Thanks for giving it a try for me, I really appreciate it.

Have a good night.

What I wanted to do is remove the low priority symbol from an email that I
received so I could forward it to other people w/o the low priority symbol
that I guess I mistakenly clicked on. I didn't know how else to say it.

You said it worked on yours and to see your screenshot for proof. Just for
the heck of it how do I do that? I can't find a link or anything to click on
to see your screenshot.

Thanks for all your help and I'm really sorry for the mix up and
misunderstanding of what I was trying to say.

Hi,

Where will I find the paperclip symbol? Do I have to cut and paste:

(e-mail address removed)...

this and will I find the paperclip there?

Thanks,

You are reading the newsgroups on the internet, therefore you will not see
any attachments.

t-4-2, is posting from WLMail, I use WM as my newsreader.

The following link will take you to this newsgroup in WM.

Mac or Steve,
Thanks I was able to find it with your help. But when I found it, I am
clicking in the correct space like he is doing. The only thing is mine is no
doing the same thing that he says his si doing!!

When I'm doing what he told me to do, I would guess that I am permanently
removing the low and high priority signs from ever being used and that's fine
wih me. I don't need to ever use them and if I do, I know how to get them
back.

Thanks, I really appreciate all your help and work trying to figure things
out for me.
No other suggestions with spell check though, right?? No one can see to
figure out what or why that happened. I still thing it's something with
Vista because I didn't do anything different to cause the spell check from
suddenly stopping to work.

Best Regards,

Have a good day.

Hi.

I didn't know that you post from WLM so that's why I coundn't see the paper
clip. But Mac gave me a link to go to and I found what you were talking
about. According to what I saw on your screenshot, I did the same thing. I
am assuming that by deleting it from the right column and putting in the left
column, I will not have the problem any more because the low and high
priority symbols will not be listed on the toolbar and if I ever need them,
I'll know where to find them and put them back.

Thanks for all your help. I really appreciate it. Have a good day.

I am of the opinion that Norton could possibly be the cause of your problem?
I know that you had a Norton tech remove it once, but if they did not follow
up by using the Norton removal tool, then it seems that the normal uninstall
leaves behind a lot of remnants?

I never had a Norton application near any of my machines, so I can't prove
the above.

I of course could be wrong?

Please do not run your system online without an up to date AV application
installed.

I use free AVG.

AVG Free AV from
http://free.avg.com/download?prd=afe

If you do get AVG, use the custom install option, when presented, and
disable the mail scan option.

Hi,

I believe that the Norton tech used the norton removal tool but I'm not 100%
sure I've heard a lot about this free AVG. Can I have both Norton's and AVG
because I have 158 days left to my Norton's contract.

Whata did you mean by: "Please do not run your system online without an up
to date AV application installed ". As you can probably tell I'm not very
computer literate.

Thanks and have a great day. You do great work and give excellent advice.

I mean on the Internet or receiving mail = Online.

Never run more than one AV Application at the same time, 158 days of Norton,
or AVG is your choice.

Save the links to the AVG Download, and the Norton Removal tool, for if you
ever decide not to renew the contract, as I say, your choice.
