Printscreen in Windows XP

Does printscreen work in XP pro? If not do you have any
suggestions for an alternative?
 
It works exactly as it was designed to.

It takes a copy of the screen and puts it on the clipboard. You then open a
graphics program (even Paint will do) paste that image in and print the
result.

an easy way is to press the prtscrn button and paste it
into wordpad

if you just want one window hold down the alt key when
pressing prtscn.
