prints multiple pictures

pictures display okay in document, but when printing creates multiples within
frame area
 
In Word, try turning off background printing in Tools | Options |
Print. In Windows, try turning off printing spooling and/or
advanced text services in Start | Control Panel | Printers |
<right-click on your printer> | Properties.
 
the third option did it, except that I turned off advanced printing options.

Glad you got it to work. The exact wording in the Properties
dialog box varies with different brands and models of printers,
but you obviously got the drift of what I was trying to say.
