PrinTray.dll and System 32

I am a very ignorant and scared computer owner - I have
within the past 3 months been getting a box coming up
when I first log on that has a blue top border that
contains the following PrinTray.exe with a red "X" box at
the right corner, below that is a white area that
contains PrinTray.dll not found and an OK box below
that. Also, lately I have been getting a page coming
up that is System 32 - These files are hidden - but have
options on the left side to open, etc. I have asked
other computer owners that know more than I do (I think)
but no one can explain what these two things are and why
I am getting them. The PrinTray box and the system 32
page do not necessarily occur at the same time and
neither is a regular occurance - it is almost when either
feels like coming up. Any help you can give would be
greatly appreciated.
