I have been attempting to get dos programs to print to
LPT1: by using the DOS command NET USE LPT1:
\\server\printer. The printer is on our local network as
SHARP PCL6 and the server is Gunddc02. The DOS command
NET USE LPT1: \\Gunddc02\SHARP PCL6 returns an error of
incorrect password; thinking that PCL6 is a password. I
even tried NET USE LPT1: | \\Gunddc02\SHARP PCL6 and got
an incorrect path error. How can I direct or capture
LPT1: to a network printer?
