Hi,
I have following question.
I have a dell Laptop with only usb ports running Windows XP. I still have a
DOS application which requires a matrix printer. As my laptop only has usb
ports and my 2nd hand matrix printer only has a parallel port I bought a
wireless parallel printer server which works well. I can print from windows
directly via the network port to the matrix printer.
Only now I was told that the DOS application can only print to lpt1 and not
to a network port.
Does anyone know if it is possible to map lpt1 (which does not physically
exist on my laptop because it only has USB ports) to a network printer port?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Kindest regards,
Arnoud
