Hi

I have a smallnetwork at home, all connected on line. 1
pc is a print server, however if I enable the firewall I
lose visibility of the printer. However if I search for
the server I can see the printer still in explorer.

Does anyone know a workaround or can anyone tell me which
files it is storing the ports it enables access, or where
to tell it which are local nodes and should have access

Many thanks

Rob

XP's built in firewall is not designed for use on a LAN, but on a standalone
printer. If you need a firewall on a LAN, use something more appropriate
like ZoneLabs' ZoneAlarm.
