Hello all,

I have a 2003 PPT presentation that is about 4MB. The slides include charts
and graphs as well as some pictures. When I send this to our color Ricoh
AP206 printer the file in the print queue grows to 3 Gigabytes. Yes, that is
3 GB not MB. It take this presentation about 4 hours to print out. Has
anyone experienced this sort of behavoir? I have turned off background
printing if that helps. Thanks in advance.

How have you created your Master slide? Did you insert the background image
using Insert > Picture? Or did you use Format > Background > Fill Effects >
Picture? Sometimes this has an impact on printing...

Wa, so amazing. Can you try to print on another printer? I guess 3G
bytes is impossible? There should be something wrong on the printer.
And the latest way I suggest to you is create another PPT and copy all
your slides to that file, and then try to print the new PPT.
Let me know if this can help.

Best regards,
KPP

Look for transparency effects (transparent images, transparent fills, etc)
Those can turn into monster spool files.

Also, how big are the images (in pixels)?
