Printing problems as a limited user

I am an administrator on the computer. My printer works
fine. However, my son, (limited user) cannot print a
document he creates.

I contacted HP since it is a HP PSC 1210 printer, and we
reset user permissions.

Contacted E-machine. Still have no printer working from a
limited account.

Seems to be a flaw in XP from limited accouts printing.

Putting my psychic's hat on here, you're using Windows XP Home and it has
Norton AntiVirus installed.

Go into the Control Panel, click on Printers & Faxes, right click on your
printer and select Properties. Select the Advanced tab and now look in the
middle of that screen. Click on the button to Print Directly to Printer
(rather than using the Print Spooler). Something in Norton disables the
print spooler for limited users, though I have no idea what since I don't
code or program!
