printing problem-repeats prior print job

Since I started using XP professional whenever I print a
job it does not seem to purge. When I add more paper it
simply reprints the last job again. Even when I unplug
the printer, it still repeats the last print job. I am
using an HP LaserJet 5L. Does anyone know what is going
on? I never had this problem with Windows 98. Thanks

I'm having a similar problem. When a print job is sent
to the printer the job is printed, but instead of purging
the queue the status goes to "Sent To Printer" and stays
there. If the host machine reboots, everything in the
queue is re-printed. I tried deleting the printers and
reinstalling, no help. I also checked the advanced
properties to make sure it doesn't have "Keep Printed
Documents" checked. I've gotten the user to manually
purge every now and again, but what a pain!!

If anyone has any ideas please e-mail me.

Thanks,
