printing on 7 1/2 inch paper

i have a customer who has a word document set up for printing on 7 1/2 inch
long paper to a panasonic kx-p1624 dot printer. a custom page size of 7.5 x
8.5 is set up in the document. (now don't laugh), when they were printing
this document from a just decommissioned windows 3.11 and word 2 pc, it
worked just fine. moving this document to winxp and word2000 it prints the
form as if it was 11 inches long. i've tried forcing it to b5 (the closest to
7.5 inches) and tried the a4/11 check box, and the scaling check box and all
it wants to print is 11 inches. any ideas?

the printer driver doesn't have a folio setting, and i've tried setting up
b5 as the page size also to no avail.

any ideas?

have you tried changing the printer setting from your location and manually
changing the page size to the custom size the individual wants it?
