I need to print out 8.5x11 size envelopes to send in the mail, but I can't
get word to allow it to pprint them sideways like it need to be. I need the
11 inch sides to be the top and bottom, and the 8.5 sides to be the sides, so
it's wider than tall, to send in the mail. It wont rpint that way no matter
what I try. Is it impossible to correctly print full size enveopes with this
program?

Can your printer physically handle envelopes this size (presumably 9x12)? If
so, create a document in Landscape orientation with 9" height and 12" width.

How do I do that? I have an option under "View" that allows me to choose "Web
layout" and that looks more like what I want, but when I print it it just
prints the other way still. When I go to print, I click for the printer
properties, and I choose "Landscape" but that doesn't make it print right
either. I don't see any option anywhere that says "Landscape" in Word itself,
only on my printer properties, and it doesn't do anything. Please tell me how
to set it to Landscape Orientation. Possibly I am missing a toolbar I need to
add under "Tools" "Customize"?

You need to choose Landscape orientation in File | Page Setup, not in your
printer Properties.
