printing footers

I want to make an outline from my powerpoint slides, preferably by sending it
to MSWord first to edit. I would like the footers for the individual slides
to show. I have tried being sure that the "Notes and handouts" section under
headers and footers is turned on. I get the footers just fine when I try to
print slide-format handouts, but loose the footers when I go to any outline
form. Help?

I would recommend that you just use the outline feature that is built in to
powerpoint rather than sending it to word.
