I have a HP printer. Model 697c, Although it has a slot
for printing envelopes whenever I use it, the envelope
goes threw plus 1 sheet of paper, The envelope is on the
bottem, so the address appears on the paper, not the
envelope. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Just slide the sheets of paper out a bit, when you're printing the envelope.
And then slide it back in when you're done so that the printer doesn't catch
the paper plus the envelope.

I use MS Word 2000 for individual envelope printing. After typing in
address and return address information, I select the orientation of the
envelope as it goes through the printer. No paper is present in the printer
when I print envelopes. This has worked for three different HP models that
I've owned or currently own. This also worked with Word 7.0 There is an
option for specifically printing envelopes in Word.
