Printing duplicat and scaled images

With PowerPoint 2003 and Win 2000 we have certain files
that will print an image that instead of being one at
100%, is being repeated in it's space. An image might be
replicated 10 times but it will be scaled and placed in
the correct spot on the page. Doesn't seem to happen on
the HP devices and only on color machines. One is
Minolta with Fiery and one is stand alone Kyocera.

Saw this posted on another sight but no fix yet.

Thanks

Hello,

This is known issue with Office 2003, some printer drivers and some JPG
images. The workarounds include:

1) Print to a different printer (using different driver)
2) Print at a lower resolution (if possible)
3) Extract the images, export them to *.png (you can use Microsoft Office
Picture Manager 2003 or your preferred image editing utility) and reinsert
the images.
