printing download problem

Have Lexmark X73, really enjoy it except just bought new computer HP and it
will not allow me to download it. Have windows XP ,Have Never had this
problem before, and not sure what to do not very smart with puters.

You do not need to download it, you need to install it.

Go to the Lexmark website and download the correct driver package for your
particular printer for Windows XP.... then install the software.

Do NOT connect the printer to the PC until the software has been
installed... it will tell you when to connect the printer to the PC.
