Printing directly to Excel

Is there a way to set up Excel as a printer so that I can print directly to
Excel from another program, or cause the screen data to be output as an excel
or csv file?
 
What is the other program/application?

Maybe you could export to Excel from that program or use Excel and import
external data from the other program.

Or output from the other program to a *.txt or *.csv file which could then be
opened in Excel.

Printing directly to Excel would not be an option AFAIK
