Printing coloured text on Excel sheets

Using a Epson Color 880 I can print photographs ok but cannot print coloured
text on my Excel worksheets. Can anyone help please?

its not the printer, must be excel is when talking to the printer driver.

In print setup on the sheet tab uncheck "black & white" in the print section
