Hello,

What can you do in Frontpage to allow a person to print
just an article on a webpage rather than the whole web page?

Thank you

Al Krismer

Two options:

Build a printable page, containing just the article. This can be included
in the web page with a FrontPage include.

Use CSS to hide everything in the page except the article when the page is
being printed.
Search for CSS Print Media.

Look at http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_mediatypes.asp
to start.

Create a page with just the article and link to it so they can print it.

Regards Jens Peter Karlsen. Microsoft MVP - Frontpage.

For future reference:

In the browser (at least IE), one can select the content
(in your case, the article) and then print just the
selected content.

Yes, but few will probably know that.

I was not suggesting this as a solution only to add to
Mr. Al's knowledge base.

Yes, but now, a few more do know that.

Or, was this supposed to be our little secret?
