Printing and Saving

Does anyone know how to turn off the feature that asks you
to save if you only printed the document and no other
changes were made?
 
That would most likely be field updating ("Update fields" on the Print tab
of Tools | Options), but you probably don't want to disable that, and all
fields in the header and footer are updated when you print even if you have
this option disabled.
