Printing AdobeRGB with Paint Sho Pro on Epson R1800 with calibrated paper

.... (yeah, that's a mouthful).

I'm trying to understand the advanced color driver options here.

The only place in the driver where I see an AdobeRGB option is when using
[Advanced][Color Control][Color Mode][Adobe RGB], but then I do not have the
option to load the paper ICC profile.
If instead I use [Advanced][ICM][Driver ICM] I can select the [paper
profile] which works great with sRGB images as the input says [sRGB
IEC61966-2.1] but there's no other option to select anything else.
Are those [Input Profiles] something I should download separately and add to
my list of color profiles ? How ?

Alas, those who refuse to bow to the Gods of Adobe must eternally toil in
the wastelands of second class color management.
Your problem, infidel, is not only with Epson but with Paint Shop Pro and
Corel.
Presumably you have read the printer instruction manual which clearly shows
how to use the 1800 with Adobe products, Alas there is no mention of
non-Adobe products from Corel (the Adobe competitor thar refuses to die).
You must now actually read the Help section of your program or, shudder,
contact Email support for spiritual guidance on printing with color
managment. I hope those instructions are clearer than what comes with Corel
Photopaint, which has excellent color management tools but unintuitive
procedures to use them.
I could tell you but Adobe would strike me dead with an erase tool.
However if you read it yourself rather than getting the shortcut answer here
you will better understand the process for the future.

Alas! If you type AdobeRGB in the Corel/PSP helpfile/online database it
brings just about one page...

Apparently I found a solution thanks to a tip I got in another thread on
corel.PaintShopProX: in short I loaded the AdobeRGB1998.icc profile in the
Printer color management options, and I can then select AdobeRGB as input in
the ICM options of the driver when printing.

Did you say 'not intuitive' ?!?
