Printing a report

I am printing a report in Access 2003 generated by my data. When I look at
print preview everything looks fine, but when I print every other page is
blank. Not sure what is spilling over into the second page when it appears
blank on the print off and print preview. I do get this box prior to
printing.

The design of your report is too wide.
Try decreasing the margins (Page Setup), or downsizing the width of your
report, or the width of your control/s.

The usual cause of blank pages in a report is that the combined width
of the report plus the width of the left and right margins is greater
than the width of the paper.
Either make the width of the report shorter or decrease the width of
the left and right margins, or both.

If you can't drag the right edge of the report towards the left you
probably have a control (usually a line) extending to the current
right position. It can be just at the extreme top or bottom of a
section which means it is going to be hard to see in Design View.
Use the Object drop-down control to highlight each line in turn until
you find the culprit. Reposition it or make it shorter, then drag the
right edge to the wanted size.

Another possible cause is the length of the report is too long. Make
the Top and Bottom margins smaller and make the length of the report
shorter.

It was acually the length. I had a date and page number at the bottom of the
page that I moved up a little and now it is ok. I don't know why it didn't
show the overlap on the print preview. Thanks for you help.

Actually it really was the width. Too much length for one page simply
goes on to the next page.
Access report designs can be a max of 22" in length... regardless of
paper length.

Only a width problem manifests itself as an "every other page blank"
In moving your DatePageNo control (any chance that it was in the lower
right hand corner??) you may have moved it slightly to the left... just
enough to fix the problem.
All it takes is 1 pixel too wide to cause the error you got.
You're all set... so I won't argue with success.
