Printing a report - misalignment in Access 2007

Hi, some help would be very much appreciated. I'm using Access 2007.

I'm printing a report with the columns Agency, title, first name, and last
name. All looks well in layout and print preview on my screen. When I print
the report, for one of the individuals Access has moved the first name to the
end of the title. So it reads something like "DirectorJones" in the title
column, with nothing in the first name column. This just happens with one of
the individuals in the report. When I created another report, based on a
different query, the same exact thing happened with just one of the names.

Ideas?

I don't know what's causing this, but here's a crazy idea.

It is possible that one of the fields in that record contains a crazy
character (such as a null char), and that this is messing up the way Access
plots the output. Open the table, delete the names in this problem record,
and type them in again.

If that doesn't work you might consider creating a new record and typing the
whole record in again (don't copy'n'paste.) If that works, use an Update
query to update any related records in other tables, and then delete the
problem record.

Let us know how you go.
