How can I print a text file or export a file list to print?

From the Windows XP command line:

dir "c:\\my documents" > "c:\\My Documents\file list.txt"

substituting your folder path. Make sure you use the quotation marks if
you have ANY spaces in your folder path.

Or you can use an application like the directory printer at:

Help!

I did this, and it did print the folders within a folder, but it wasn't
exactly what I wanted. Therefore, I deleted the prin.bat file created in the
Knowledge Base article since it wasn't what I needed. Now, I can't
change/reverse the settings made regarding "file folder." PLUS: to make
matters worse...whenever I try to open a folder to explore its contents....it
opens the SEARCH feature.

How can I reverse the steps made in
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=272623 ?

Thank you so much,
Amanda

Did you go to 'Folder Options|File Types', open the "File Folder" entry and
remove the "Print Directory Listing" action the article has you create?

Hi,

When I go back in there, everything is greyed out except "new." I cannot
edit or remove anything within "file folder." I noticed that the commands in
this folder control and are displayed in the shortcut menu when you right
click on something. I tried to add "open" or "explore" (to match the ones in
"folder"), but it wants an application specified despite typing "%open" in
the action.

We've even logged in as administrator to see if the permissions changed and
the options were no longer greyed out. No luck.

I will take a look at the article you included in your other reply.
However, if you have any other suggestions, they are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
