printing a fax in b/w by default

All,

OS: Win2kProSP4 (dutch licence)
Printer: Canon BJC-2000 with only b/w cartridge fitted (and configured to
print only b/w)

System is configured to automatically print incoming faxes to the printer
and save a copy to the received fax msg folder.
All goes well except for the following:

Printer monitor gives a warning that I need a color cartridge to print
faxes.
When pressing "ignore" fax is being printed correctly.

Any chance to get rid of this warning? In other words how do I configure the
fax driver to print in b/w?
(all other documents -even when in color- are printed in b/w without any
warnings)
