Printers causing reboot on W2K3

We have had issues when a user prints a colored spreadsheet to a client attached Lexmark Optra 1855 from excel in office XP Professional. We saw a similar situation on W2K advanced server with an HP1100. We are running all of the latest service packs and patches (as well as the latest client) and have had multiple reboots because of this. Has anyone else experienced this? Also interesting, this only happens on one server (we have 4!) Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this?
 
This is typical for a non-native, TS-incompatible printer driver.
Uninstall the driver from the server and map the printer to a native
printer.
