Hey all,

We have just bought a batch of 12 Dell PC's and each of
them all seem to have the same problem. Straight out of
the box, when ever you access the printers from
start->printers it throws up an explorer.exe error
Instruction at "0x77f52bba" referenced memory
at "0x007000036". The memory could not be written.

But if you go via start->control panel->printers the
error is not received but we get intermittent print
spooler failures explorer/desktop crashes.

I have done a re-install on one of the PC's but after a
little bit this problem comes right back.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Cheers

Immediately call Dell tech support. I know it is a pain, but you
probably have bad RAM. Several clients of mine have had bad RAM on new
Dells recently. The Dell diagnostic program did not show anything
wrong, but the RAM was bad and Dell had to replace it (twice on one
machine!). It took 3 hours of screwing around with the Indian tech
support to get this taken care of, so brace yourself, but do it now and
don't wait.
