Printers and Scanners

I just got a new Toshiba laptop. I tried connecting my
Lexmark and HP printers and scanners. I can print, but
cannot scan. I first get a popup telling me to insert my
Xp home disk. Toshiba does not give you this. They give
you a mster computer disk insted. The computer is
looking for file----wiafbdrv.dll and jetocr.dll. What do
I do? Toshiba tells me they are a hardware company, not a
software company. I have sent E-mails to Lexmark and Hp
asking for their help too. Any ideas?
