printer paused, won't print, did the net stop spool and net start spool,
nothing is working!

Not much to go on here. Can you print a test page using the buttons on
the printer itself? Can you print a test page from the printer
Properties dialog? Have you re-booted? What make/model printer? How
connected? etc., etc.,
