Every time I print a page in Word, a printer report follows (telling me the
date, number of words/characters, filename etc...). How do I turn this
function off? It is wasting a lot of paper on a report I don't care about.

In Tools > Options > Properties, uncheck the option "Document
properties" in the "Include with document" section.
