printer won't print black

i thought the black ink cartridge was empty but i replaced it and it still
wont print black ink. i cant find anything in control panel that seems to
pertain to this problem

I am having same problem--I too replaced cartridge and still not printing,
but the color will print on the page minus the black? How did you fix this
problem?

did you ever find out why the printer would not print the black? i am having
