Printer Wizard doesn't work

I cannot add a printer to my Windows XP Pro
workstation... Here's what I'm doing:

(1) Start->Settings->Printers and Faxes
(2) Click on "Add a Priner" from the Printer Tasks

And nothing happens! No dialog, no error... nothing.

Help!

Print spooler has probably stopped....

From the command prompt, type

net start spooler

(and hit enter)

If that fails, from the command prompt, type

sfc /scannow

Reboot after it's finished and try adding the printer again.
