Printer "unshares" itself

Running W2K3 print server with about 160 printers. Occasionally, a printer
will just stop sharing itself and when I try to share it back I get an
access denied error, or, it will let me share it but then it automatically
unshares itself again.

Anybody experience this problem? Anybody know the "fix"?

Are your clients running Windows 2000 professional? I am experiencing the
same issue when users try to connect to print queues and a "access denied"
message is posted. I notice the printer unshares itself. What I have done
temporarily is reshare the printer queue, save the changes and then delete
that printer. I will once again readd that same printer and that issue will
be resolved.
