I have restarted the printer spooler several times. Restarted the system
several times. Restored the system to a previous date. Still the printer
spooler will not stay on. Any suggestions?

I worked with HP to try and reinstall my new printer and they were not able
to help me either. I had a HP printer hooked up and running just fine. Untill
a couple of days ago, all of a sudden I couldnt print anymore. So I called HP
and they would not help me unless I paid them. Or I could just buy a new
printer and they said they would be able to help me. So I thought that my
printer was broke, and I purchased a new one for a very good price. But now
they say that I need to call Gateway because it must be a operating system
problem. I have windows xp. So I called Gateway and they tried to help me,
but now they say that I need to find my Windows XP program cd and call them
back so they can try to fix this problem. Would it work to uninstall the
windows xp and then reinstall it? I'm a rookie at all of this computer stuff
as you can tell.
Thanks a bunch,

Cari,
I did check to see if there are any printers installed and there are none.
