how can i tell if my printer, which is directly connected
to my xp computer, is available for sharing? Is there
anyplace i can look to see if it is part of my network?
i enabled printer sharing and gave a sharename
of "hpdeskje". i also enabled printer sharing on my
w2000 computer (which is directly (RJ45) connected via
linksys router) and gave it the same sharename. i am
still unable to print from the other computer. maybe
it's something i did wrong in xp. THANKS IN ADVANCE
