Printer Sharing requiring password

[Rush]

I have a Lexmark E320 on an XP machine that I am trying to
share with a 98 machine. Sharing is enabled and the
workgroup names are the same on both machines, but when i
try to connect to the printer, it asks me for a password.
None of our known passwords work, nothing i've tried has
worked to get rid of it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Add the User Name and password of the 98 PC to be a user on the XP PC...
(Control Panel, User Accounts)

XP Home or Pro... if Pro, from Windows Explorer, Tools, Folder Options,
View... right down at the bottom, is Enable Simple File Sharing checked...?
