Did you select network printer when you were installing
the printer on your laptop and browse to the share printer
on the other computer? Also, there is o need to share the
printer on the laptop.

Can anyone help me with the subject?

Here's what I have tried to do thus far:
1) Selected the desktop printer (the one that I want to
share with my laptop - named HP OfficeJet)
2) I then went into its Properties and selected it to share as: TODD'S OFFICE
3) Added printer on my laptop named HP OfficeJet; shared as TODD'S OFFICE
4) When I go to find this printer on my laptop - it's
there, but will not allow me to print

Thanks Wayne! However, I have selected network printer on my laptop, but when I typed in the printer name for the network - I rec'd an error saying "Could not connect to the printer..." and it would not let me continue.
Also, I'm not sharing the printer on the laptop - only on the desktop.
