printer problem

I too have a problem HP printer worked Ok on my Compaq but
my son pressed a Fkey and since then it will not work, I
have reloaded the drivers but still no luck any help
appreciated

An F Key shouldn't do anything. Actually the F12 key can sometimes be
used in programs to send the document to the printer. Try this: Click
Start-Control Panel-Printers and Faxes. Right click on your printer and
remove it. Now in Control Panel, open Add/Remove Programs and remove all
of your HP Software. Now REBOOT and reinstall the software and that
should reinstall the printer as well. If it doesn't, you can manually
install the printer through the same Printers and Faxes you removed it from.
