Printer/Print server/XP compatibility

I have an HP 2600N, a Linksys wireless Print server, and am running
XP SP2. While I can ping the print server I cannot get the printer to
print. I don't know if there has been a change in windows that is preventing
the printing, but I do get just a general error from XP saying that there was
a failure, which I suspect is a timeout.

Any ideas as to where to look?
