printer out of paper, but not

I installed an HP Deskjet 648c on my computer and I
cannot get it to print more than one page at a time.
After it prints one page, it says that it is "out of
paper" but the printer has paper. I downloaded drivers
from the HP website and installed the printer according
to their instructions. Any ideas on what to do next?

Hi Paul --

It sounds like the printer mechanism responsible for picking up / feeding
paper is broken or defective. You might be able to fiddle it back into
functionality if you poke at a bit. I hope that's helpful!
