Hello all,

In Access 2003, I can't print anything. When I mouse over the printer icon,
the text tip is "No Printer". When I click "File", "Print", nothing happens.
Also can't create a new report.

Any suggestions?

Connie

Dear Connie:

Install a printer? Do you have any printer attached and installed? Can you
print a test page from the printer driver?

Do you have a printer installed in Windows? It must be installed there
for Access. It seems Access does not see one.

Hi Tom
There are 16 computers all using Access 2003 and all are using an Access
database. Printers are all installed and working fine. Only one compter
giving grief.

Dear Connie:

If the printer is installed and working, but doesn't show up in Access, then
it is beyond my experience what is happening. Can you print from other
standard windoes applications (WordPad for example) and just not Access?

If it is just an Access problem, then I hope someone else has experienced
this and can help. If it is a system-wide problem, then likely a Windows
newsgroup would be a place where you would find more assistance.

Thanks Tom and Joseph,

It's a very strange problem indeed. It seems to be just with Access.
Several printers installed and working well with all other applications, and
all other computers with the same access database...only this one comupter.
I am baffled by it acually. Suggested that they reinstall/repair Access as a
starting point and I welcome any other suggestions.
