Printers not recognised in Access

Hi

Wierd MS problem - No printers are recognised by MS Access. When you hover
over the print icon, the tip reads "(no printers)". When clicking on file ->
print, nothing happens...

This happens with both existing and new databases.

User on XP sp2, with Access 2003 patched up to 05-09-2005!

Have uninstalled/reinstalled/repaired/patched office.

If any further info is needed, pls let me know...

Many thanks for any help...

Pete

Do other applications see a printer? If not, it is usually a permissions
problem. Try logging in as the user and adding a printer. If you cannot do
that, it is a permissions problem. If you can do it, your problem is solved.

Yup, all other apps can see the printer (MSWord, Outlook, etc). Test pages
print fine from printer properties (to all the printers installed) - just
Access doesn't like the printers!

The user is a local admin on the PC

You might try a repair of the Access installation .
